While I absolutely love fashion, my other love is beauty! Since I was a little girl I’ve always been fascinated by makeup and this love has really grown in recent years. While I’m always talking about fashion trends here on MSL, I realized that I’ve never talked about beauty trends!
Last week I shared some clothes that are essential for back to school (read here), and today I’ve rounded up my top 7 back to school beauty essentials. These are all products that I’ve used for years and that I definitely cannot live without! If you use all these products together you can create the perfect makeup look for the first day!
I’m sure that at one point or another all of us have experienced that annoying beauty struggle of having your nail polish chip only a day or two after getting a manicure! It’s the worst! Whether you’re one who gets your nails done at the salon or one who favors doing your own nails at home, today I wanted to share five tips with you for making your manicure last longer!
The past few weeks I’ve changed up my makeup routine to make it more Summer appropriate! Last week though, this negative generalization of all nail salons changed and I realized that amongst the many bad ones, there was one that I not only liked, but actually LOVED, so of course I wanted to share it with you!
Last week I had the opportunity to visit Facialworks, one of the best places to be pampered in Orange County. Facialworks is a luxury facial bar located in Newport Beach that is known for its hydrating oxygen facials. More specifically, Facialworks’ goal is to provide quality skincare treatments and products that actually work and are affordable. A 40 minute oxygen facial starts at only $40!!

Despite this shift, my love for makeup has not gone away! In fact, I love it more now than ever before.
