While I’ve been sharing Summer outfits all of June and July, this one really screams Summer to me!! I wore this look when I went on my day trip to San Diego (see that post here) recently and I felt amazing all day! Anyone else relate to feeling like a million bucks when wearing a cute outfit?!
Happy Monday everyone! After visiting Nordstrom over the weekend, I’m so excited to finally be sharing what I purchased from the NSale so far! While I’m pretty sure I will be shopping at the Anniversary Sale more this week, I thought it would be best to share these items now since everything is selling out super quickly! I’ve listed all the items I bought and I’m sharing all the details about them (including what size I purchased, price, etc.) in the video below!

If you haven’t heard yet, the NSale is on and earlier I shared general info about the sale as well as my tips for those heading out to shop (read more about that here). While I originally planned on sharing my first round of favorites from the sale tomorrow, I just couldn’t wait!
Being a SoCal girl, I spend a lot of time near the beach! Surprisingly though, most of the time when I head to the beach it’s not to lay out and tan on the sand! I love walking the pier and taking in the beautiful view! It’s so relaxing and there’s no need to worry about getting sand in my bathing suit (that’s the worst!).
By now you’ve probably noticed that lace bralettes are definitely trending! It seems like I see them in every store I shop at these days and I cannot even count the number of friends I have that have been obsessing over them for the past few months. To be honest, I never understood all the hype…until I tried one myself from Adore Me.
I don’t know about you, but I can honestly say that the Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! There are so many things about it that I love…spending time BBQing with family and friends, eating yummy food (especially apple pie a la mode!!), celebrating this beautiful country I am so blessed to call home…the list could go on and on! Before all the fun though is the holiday prep and while you’re probably thinking about how you have to make the potato salad (or patriotic ice cream cones as seen in my post here), in my mind picking out a festive outfit is part of the prep too!
At the start of every Summer I always write out a list of things I want to do, basically a bucket list! While I try to switch it up and come up with new places to explore and things to do each year, there is one thing that is always towards the top of my list, which is to go to a baseball game! It is America’s favorite pastime!
Years ago while at dinner on a family trip to Hawaii I remember the waiter approaching our table wearing a type of watch I’d never seen before. It intrigued me and after asking about it, he explained that it was a wood watch! I was quite young at the time, but I remember thinking it was such a cool watch.
There is just something about a black bikini that I love! In the sea of brightly colored bathing suits and funky prints that have become so popular, I think a little black bikini is a classic. That doesn’t mean it can’t be fun though!!!
It may unofficially be Summer, but in SoCal the weather seems to flip flop every week! Last week it was so hot and this week we are back to the cooler temps! No complaints here though…I know that come August I will be wishing the heat would go away.
