Since I was little, I’ve always been drawn to all things girly! Makeup…the color pink…dressing up…all those stereotypical things! To this day I still get super excited when I have an excuse to dress up and go somewhere so when I saw the perfect ivory tutu I fell in love! The fact that it had polka dots on it just made it that much better.
So often we associate blazers with work, but heading to the office isn’t the only occasion to wear one! Lately I’ve been wearing a blazer with a tee and jeans as a way to dress up a more casual look and I have to say that I’m loving it! I received so many compliments on this outfit when I wore it to an event a while back, so today I’m sharing 3 tips for how to rock a blazer when you’re just out and about.
There are just certain pieces in my closet that I know are bound to get compliments. I’m sure many of you have pieces like these too, pieces that are eye-catching! For me, one of these clothing items is a chevron maxi dress. While I absolutely love the dress, I think that a bold print like this can be hard to style!
Last week I spent a lot of time at the mall! I would say way too much time, but is that even a thing for us ladies?! I could spend hours and hours there and never get bored! As I was browsing in the various stores (including my fave Nordstrom!), I realized that there are so many cute Spring purses out right now! Today I thought I’d share some of my favorites…and my most recent purchase (scroll to the end to see!).
I truly believe that you can never go wrong with black and white! It’s a combo you can wear year-round. A classic right?? While Spring style tends to involve pastels and other bright colors, I still like to throw in an outfit with a lot of black now and then. It’s a color you really can’t go wrong with.
It may be Spring, but with the cold weather coming in this week, I’m not quite ready to start rocking all my floral dresses and skirts! I’m kinda bummed about this! For those of you who feel like I talk about weather way too much here on the blog, my apologies, but hey if you live in Southern California you totally know that the crazy weather is a big dilemma! One day it’s super hot and the next is cold! #thestruggleisreal
Can anyone else relate to getting up the morning of a holiday and realizing they have nothing to wear! Okay…maybe you have some options, but you wish you had a new dress to slip on! This is the story of my life. This year though, I wanted to make sure that this situation doesn’t happen to either you or me! In case you’re still on the hunt for the perfect dress, I’ve got you covered.
I have to admit, I’ve always been skeptical about trying the denim on denim style! It always looked so cute on others, but I didn’t think I could pull it off myself! Taking a leap of faith one day, I decided to pair my chambray top with my fave jeans and surprisingly I loved it!
As I was flipping through my calendar the other day, I was shocked when I realized that the first day of Spring is coming. This Sunday to be exact! I honestly don’t know where Winter went, but I’m so ready for warmer weather and Spring clothing of course!
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved pink! Super girly, I know, but I just think it’s such a pretty color and it happens to go well with my brown hair. While I love a variety of shades of pink, I have to say that my favorite is blush pink so when I saw this oversized sweater it was love at first sight.
