While I’ve been sharing Summer outfits all of June and July, this one really screams Summer to me!! I wore this look when I went on my day trip to San Diego (see that post here) recently and I felt amazing all day! Anyone else relate to feeling like a million bucks when wearing a cute outfit?!
During the Summer months, one of my favorite things to do is go on day trips! I just pick a place to go, pack all my essentials in a tote, and drive! This past weekend, I did just this and spent the day in La Jolla, with a few stops along the way.
By now you’ve probably noticed that lace bralettes are definitely trending! It seems like I see them in every store I shop at these days and I cannot even count the number of friends I have that have been obsessing over them for the past few months. To be honest, I never understood all the hype…until I tried one myself from Adore Me.
After a long holiday weekend, it feels good to be back to blogging…even though I would totally go back to the Fourth if I could! Today’s post is a little different! I’m doing a recap of my Fourth of July weekend so you can get more of a glimpse into my life apart from the normally staged fashion posts!
At the start of every Summer I always write out a list of things I want to do, basically a bucket list! While I try to switch it up and come up with new places to explore and things to do each year, there is one thing that is always towards the top of my list, which is to go to a baseball game! It is America’s favorite pastime!
Years ago while at dinner on a family trip to Hawaii I remember the waiter approaching our table wearing a type of watch I’d never seen before. It intrigued me and after asking about it, he explained that it was a wood watch! I was quite young at the time, but I remember thinking it was such a cool watch.
I will honestly admit that in the past I’ve been one who avoided nail salons! As much as I love having pretty polished nails, I found that every nail salon I tried was unsanitary, loud, dirty, and lacked quality customer service. Last week though, this negative generalization of all nail salons changed and I realized that amongst the many bad ones, there was one that I not only liked, but actually LOVED, so of course I wanted to share it with you!
There is just something about a black bikini that I love! In the sea of brightly colored bathing suits and funky prints that have become so popular, I think a little black bikini is a classic. That doesn’t mean it can’t be fun though!!!
It may unofficially be Summer, but in SoCal the weather seems to flip flop every week! Last week it was so hot and this week we are back to the cooler temps! No complaints here though…I know that come August I will be wishing the heat would go away.
