Every day is an opportunity to be styled.
It may unofficially be Summer, but in SoCal the weather seems to flip flop every week! Last week it was so hot and this week we are back to the cooler temps! No complaints here though…I know that come August I will be wishing the heat would go away.
As many of you know, I recently turned 20! While this is still such a young age and I have so much to learn throughout this amazing journey we call life…today I wanted to reflect on what life has taught me so far! Some of these are cliches, others are things most of us should know…but all are things we should remember!
With SoCal finally experiencing warm weather and the sun shining all day long, I think Summer has started…at least unofficially (the actual first day of Summer is June 20th)! This of course has me wishing I could spend every single day poolside with a book in hand…
If I’m being completely honest, when I first snapped these few photos before heading out to my birthday dinner with some of my girl friends, I had no intention of including them in a blog post! I took them more for fun, just to remember the night! In fact, I planned on styling this dress in a completely different way…a more casual look.

Last week I had the opportunity to visit Facialworks, one of the best places to be pampered in Orange County. Facialworks is a luxury facial bar located in Newport Beach that is known for its hydrating oxygen facials. More specifically, Facialworks’ goal is to provide quality skincare treatments and products that actually work and are affordable. A 40 minute oxygen facial starts at only $40!!
I am so excited to announce that I will be co-hosting the Daisy Shoppe’s 50th Birthday Celebration and I would like to invite all of you! The Daisy Shoppe is a totally girly store that offers super cute clothing items and accessories as well as gifts and home decor items. I have been shopping at the store for years and always find items I love!
When I shared the above photograph a while back it received over 600 likes on Instagram (a record high for me!!), so it was no question that I had to do a shoot to show how I style this beautiful top. While it was a little more on the expensive side (when I originally bought it…it’s now on sale!), I couldn’t resist getting it! The color is one of my favorites…next to pink of course!!
