The other day I asked those of you who follow me on Instagram to let me know what types of posts you wanted to see more of here on My Styled Life. Many of you suggested more beauty posts and I could not even tell you how excited I was to hear this!
Lately I’ve been very into bodycon dresses! I wore this one all Summer long and though it is now Fall I don’t see myself putting it away in my closet anytime soon…especially when the weather app says that the high today is going to be 100 degrees.
Surprise, surprise! Once again I’m rocking my favorite color for Fall: Olive Green. I just can’t get enough! I’m sure most of you have that one color that you always look good in and for me this is it. I love how it compliments my hair.
While I absolutely love fashion, my other love is beauty! Since I was a little girl I’ve always been fascinated by makeup and this love has really grown in recent years. While I’m always talking about fashion trends here on MSL, I realized that I’ve never talked about beauty trends!
While September is filled with important events such as the first day of Fall and going back to school, there is another reason why this month is so significant. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! So many children are affected by cancer and today I’m excited to share an amazing organization with you that is spreading hope to these kids.
Though I shared my last Summer outfit post Tuesday (read here!!), there are a few other different types of posts I want to share to mix things up before I jump into all things Fall! While I do typically focus on fashion, I started My Styled Life as an outlet to now only express my love for fashion, but my love for life!
Summer may almost be over, but I’m sure many of you are planning on heading to the beach over Labor Day Weekend to soak up some rays! With that being said, I realized I never shared what was in my beach bag this Summer and thought why not share now.
I don’t know why, but I have an obsession with camo! Always have and probably always will! For some reason I’m just drawn to it, which isn’t a bad thing for this time of year since camo incorporates the Fall colors that I absolutely love.
Even though I constantly share new outfits here on My Styled Life, I definitely have my favorites and today’s look is one of them! It’s actually funny because when I first saw this dress I wasn’t sure if it would look right on me because I normally don’t go for boho pieces. After trying it on though, I knew that I had to have it!!
