So this may just be one of my favorite looks yet! To be honest, I’ve said that multiple times before, but hey, a girl can have many favorites right?! With the hot summer weather lately, my two concerns when stepping outside are staying cool and protecting my face from the sun’s rays. You likely won’t find me outside without my sunglasses and I’m trying to become better about wearing hats more often.

When one of your favorite holidays is a little over two weeks away, you start planning now — insert praise hands emoji here. I don’t know about you, but the 4th of July is always one of the holidays that I look forward to most. Spending time with family and friends, eating yummy BBQ, and watching fireworks, is the perfect day to me. Since it’s a day all about red, white and blue, and one where a lot of pictures are taken, I always have to pick out the perfect outfit.
Oh hey loves! Well, let me start by saying that life has been busy lately! Last week I celebrated my 21st birthday, which was so fun. While I intended to have a blog post up every day last week, I thought back to my New Year’s Resolution post. So often I feel like I can’t turn off the “blogger” aspect of my life. I mean, being a blogger involves constantly telling everyone about your life — showing videos, pictures, etc. Last week, however, I wanted to just be present. I enjoyed catching up with a ton of friends, eating way too much cake, and living in the moment.
With My Styled Life, I’m constantly styling, searching for, and talking about clothes, but every once in a while a piece comes along that I really fall in love with. You know the feeling, the clothing item that makes you feel like a million bucks. The clothing item that you would wear every day if it was socially acceptable. The second I saw this off-the-shoulder tie dress from Tobi, I knew it would be my go-to dress this summer.
Hello loves! Today’s post is a little different than my usual ones that are all about fashion. While this one is still about clothes, it’s more about something that has been on my mind lately. Though I initially debated about sharing this, the more I thought about it, the more I felt inclined to share.
I’ll be honest, my go-to summer clothing item is a maxi dress. If I can’t figure out what to wear or just want something easy to put on, this item is it. Since I wear maxi dresses so often, I’ve gotten a little creative in how I style them.

Things have just been super busy and I would rather take a break for a few days than post inferior content just to “post” something. However, today I’m excited to be sharing this spring look, which I think would be perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch this weekend.
My friends often ask where I get certain clothing items and are shocked when I reveal that some of my most fashionable pieces are from affordable stores like Forever 21 and H&M. For me, super trendy items that are going to be in and out in one season aren’t worth dropping a ton of money on. However, I do have staple pieces that are definitely worth the expensive price tag. With this in mind, I thought sharing the items I splurge vs. save on would be interesting for you!
