A few weeks back I went on another day trip (read about my La Jolla day trip here), but this time I went to Santa Barbara! While it was a long drive to get up there from the OC for just a day, I think it was so worth it – especially when it was so much cooler there than at home!!
Like every time we go to SB, my family and I first stopped at Sambo’s for a late breakfast and it was so yummy. If you decide to visit this place, ask to sit outside so that you can take in the view of the beautiful coast. From there we headed off to State Street to do a little shopping and of course we had to stop into Anthropologie!
After that we wandered around town, taking in the beautiful architecture. If you’re going to SB you have to check out the courthouse and the museum of art just for the architecture alone! I love clean white buildings! Then we checked out a little place that I’m dying to stay at, the Spanish Garden Inn! This hotel is so pretty and is truly a hidden gem. Definitely on my bucket list.
Lastly, what’s a trip to SB without visiting Stearns Wharf?! The view looking out towards the ocean and the view looking out towards the mountains are equally as beautiful. Below are some of the photos I took from the trip!
