If I’m being honest, I RARELY try out new foundations. I have sensitive skin! In addition, in the past I had a bad experience in which I tried a new foundation and my skin negatively reacted. However, when Urban Decay gave me their new Stay Naked foundation to try, I took a chance! With that being said, I thought it would be appropriate to share a review of this foundation.
My Thoughts
I want to start off by saying that I’m impressed by shade range of this foundation line. With 50 shades, everyone will be able to find their perfect match. Sure it does take time to narrow down which shade is best for you, but that’s better than having a foundation that doesn’t match your skin tone.
In regard to the formula, it works great with my sensitive skin. I have worn this foundation many times and have not experienced any negative skin effects. It is a little more on the thin side, however, I don’t mind this as it is buildable. This is nice because you can just apply a little on days were you don’t want to wear a ton of makeup. In addition, this foundation is weightless as UD describes it to be. I find it to not be drying, but it’s important to note that I have normal, not dry, skin.
As for the longevity, this foundation did last all day for me, which is always a plus!
In regard to the packaging, it’s a plastic bottle with a pump. I will say that the cap on the foundation is a little heavy, making the foundation occasionally fall over when sitting on the counter. However, this does not bug me.
Overall, I’m really loving this foundation and do recommend trying it.
Where to Buy
This foundation is available at Urban Decay, Sephora, and Ulta, both in-store and online!
Price
The Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation is $39, which is about average when compared to foundations sold by it’s competitors. I have yet to finish my bottle so I cannot say how long an entire bottle lasts.
