Things to Do in Los Angeles – Sweet Laurel Bakery

On the weekends, chances are I’m running around Orange County or Los Angeles finding new spots! From cute cafes to trendy stores, I’m always on the hunt. This past weekend I visited Palisades Village and stumbled upon Sweet Laurel Bakery.

What Differentiates Sweet Laurel?

As a whole foods baking company, Sweet Laurel focuses on providing baked goods that are grain-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free and that use organic ingredients. All of the company’s treats are paleo and there are even some that are vegan and raw. The bakery also offers a variety of coffee drinks and lattes.

What I Ordered

I tried the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Frappé! It was so tasty and also low-carb. I highly recommend trying it if you visit soon. Honestly, everything looked good.

Tips for Visiting

If you plan to check out Sweet Laurel, I suggest doing so earlier in the day. As it gets closer to closing time, there are significantly less baked goods to choose from, which makes sense! Also, plan to make a day out of it because there are so many other great shops and restaurants to visit at Palisades Village.
