One Year of My Styled Life

It may be a Monday, but today is a special day for me! Today – January 30 – marks one year of My Styled Life and all I can say is wow…what a year! While I blogged before My Styled Life (read some background on that here), when I started MSL last year I had no idea what was in store for me. Over the past 365 days I have worked with so many amazing companies and brands, connected with some of the most inspiring bloggers, and learned a lot about myself.

So many windows of opportunity have been opened for me as a result of this blog and while I could take all the credit that wouldn’t be right because my success is not solely a result of my own doing, it is a result of YOU! It is a result of you taking the time to read MSL, keep up with all my adventures on social media and support me even when I’m busy and have to take a few days off from blogging. Because of you, I’m able to pursue something that I’m so passionate about, something that is very time consuming, yet never feels like “work.”

I want to thank you for all the lovely comments you leave here and on my social media accounts – especially Instagram, the DMs, the emails…all of them. While I’m not able to respond to every single one because I’m only one person, I do take the time to read all of them and I cannot count the number of times that one of your comments has brightened my day.

Despite what many people think, blogging is not easy. I don’t just snap a photo, type a little blurp and boom there’s a new blog post. It takes hours and hours of work for one post and some days I do get discouraged, but reading your kind words always inspires me.
