Most of you know that I’m a big Disney fan and you can catch me in Downtown Disney frequently. You may also know that I’m a total makeup lover! With that being said, every time I visit Downtown Disney, you can guarantee that I will stop into Sephora to check out the latest products. A girl can never have enough makeup, right?!
What you may not know, however, is that the Sephora at Downtown Disney was just recently remodeled and let me tell you…the store is GORGEOUS! Last week I had the opportunity to visit the store for a custom makeover and had such an enjoyable experience that I had to share!
Before going into detail about my experience, I have to say that if you are visiting Downtown Disney or if you’re in the area, you have to stop by this store. If you stop in, you can get a 15 minute mini makeover for FREE or a 45-minute custom makeover with a $50 minimum purchase! The store also offers complimentary mini facials!!
After spending some time wandering the store, I sat down at the store’s newly expanded 6 chair beauty studio to begin my makeover with one of Sephora’s Beauty Advisors, Joanne.
Explaining that I wanted a very glamorous, but not too over-the-top look, my artist began pulling products that fit my vision. What was really cool was that I was able to sign into my Sephora account and use Sephora’s Digital Makeover Guide to see how certain products would look on my skin tone.
From there, it was time to get beautified! Joanne began by removing my existing makeup and completing a skincare routine. This included using the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet, Fresh Rose Cleansing Foam, Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Green Tea, and the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches!
What I loved was that throughout the makeover, Joanne explained every step and why she was using certain products for my skin.
Then, it was time for makeup. For the eyes, she used the beautiful Too Faced Natural Eyes palette and the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner. Then, to complete the eyes, I picked out the Sephora Velour Lashes, which are SO gorgeous and fluffy.
As for my face, Joanne used a variety of products including the Becca Backlight Priming Filter Face Primer, Clinique Superbalanced Makeup foundation, Anastasia Contour Cream Kit, Dior Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer, and the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. Then, she used the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush, Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo in Rosy Glow, and filled in my brows with the Anastasia Brow Wiz! I swear by the brow wiz!
After adding a liquid lipstick, my custom makeover was complete and I’m still obsessed with how it turned out! Just think, how perfect to plan a date night at Downtown Disney and stop by Sephora for a custom makeover right before meeting up with your date!?
