The usually sunny and warm California has been cold and super rainy this winter! When I asked for Hunter Boots for Christmas, I had no idea I would use them so much this year. I definitely picked the right year to have them on my wish list.
With many of us practically living in our rain boots, I thought I would share one way to style your Hunter Boots in order to stay fashionable while keeping those feet dry. I chose classic black skinny jeans to go with the boots, but then it was time to add a little fun to the look. This off-the-shoulder sweater is super trendy with its beautiful statement sleeves and I love how it makes the look more feminine. Lets be real, rain boots aren’t the most feminine looking shoes so the rest of your outfit needs to make up for that. While you would probably want to put on a jacket with this look, I didn’t because I really wanted to show off the sweater.
To complete the look, I went with stylish mirrored aviators – anyone else feel super cool in sunnies like these?! – and my black fringe tote. I love all the different textures featured in this outfit. Also, I love how all the pieces combined dress up the rain boots! If a rainy day means that I get to wear an outfit like this, well, I’m okay with that! Who knew rain boots could be so stylish right?!
