We all have those old concert tees in our closet that we rarely wear because, at least in my opinion, we don’t feel fully put together in just a t-shirt. This has been on my mind lately as I’ve gone to quite a few concerts in the past couple of months and I was determined to create a stylish outfit to showcase a concert tee!
I started out with a basic pair of black skinny jeans that I’ve had for years! These are the best pants I own! I have washed them over 100 times and they look just as good as the day I bought them! Seriously…they haven’t faded. After adding the concert tee, I then added my go-to accessory, a statement necklace! I really think jewelry pulls together a look that otherwise may seem too casual. Throw on some booties, add a cute bag, and you will create a fashionable outfit that allows you to rock that concert t-shirt.
On a more serious note, Happy Veterans Day! I would like to take a moment to thank all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces to protect our freedom that we are so blessed to have! May we never forget that freedom isn’t free. Today and every day is a reason is honor those who have sacrificed so much to allow us to continue living in this beautiful country called the USA.
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. – John F. Kennedy
