Every year when the weather begins to get cold – well, if you consider temperatures in the 60s to be cold – I pull out all my winter staples including my beloved UGG boots! I’ve had Uggs for as long as I can remember, but this year my goal was to find the perfect pieces to pair them with to create a cute winter outfit!
My first tip in creating a fashionable look is to wear skinny jeans and tuck them into the Uggs. This looks cuter than having the boots peek out from under a pair of bootcut jeans. I also love that you can see a little of the wool insole sticking out of the top of the boot. Then I chose a cute sweater that had lace detailing along the bottom edge similar in color to the boots! Incorporating the color of the boots into other parts of the outfit makes it look more put together! I also pulled the color in with my khaki beanie!
Finally, to make the look more stylish, I added a leather jacket! I’ve had this one for years, but I’m dying to get a new one! This one is SO cute!! Adding a leather jacket gives the outfit an edgier vibe while still being cozy and casual! I plan on wearing outfits like this a ton this season! I highly doubt that leather will go out of fashion any time soon. Businesses like Clothing Manufacturers and clothing retailers won’t let that happen, especially as they know how popular it is amongst a large audience. Imagine the uproar if designers weren’t able to create anything made out of leather, whether real or faux. Personally, I’m loving the addition of leather in an outfit.
