One of my most frequently asked questions is what foundation I use! Since I get asked this question so often, I thought I would dedicate a blog post to it!
What Foundation I Use
As the title of the blog post indicates, I use the Clinique Superbalanced Makeup Foundation! I’ve used this foundation for 10 years and have no intention of switching foundations any time soon. While I have tried a few different foundations here and there and have liked some of them, I ultimately always go back to my Clinique one.
Why I Like It
While I would describe my skin as normal, meaning neither overly dry nor oily, my skin is sensitive. In fact, in the past, one foundation I tried completely broke out my face. Luckily, over the 10 years that I have used the Clinique Superbalanced Makeup, it has never irritated my skin!
This foundation is medium-to-full coverage and buildable. In addition, it lasts all day on my skin and looks great in photos! There’s a reason why I’ve been using it for so long! I honestly cannot say anything bad about the formula of this foundation. While the foundation does come in a square glass bottle, I purchased a foundation pump from the Clinque counter at my local Nordstrom to help pump the foundation out.
Price
At $28.50 for a bottle, the Clinique Superbalanced Makeup is not too expensive! I find that price to be reasonable when you compare it to other brands that charge $50 to $60.
