Those that know me know that I’m the type of girl who would dress up every day if I had the opportunity to! I honestly believe that I am more productive and happier when I look my best. Now I’m not saying that I need to be in some cute little dress with a pair of pumps to look dressed up.
It’s all about the pieces you pair together to create an outfit. You can take some more casual pieces and some more dressy pieces, combine them and boom…you have an outfit that is dressed up, but still appropriate for day time.
Today I’m talking about four of my essentials for creating a more dressed-up look this Fall!
Heeled Booties – I think that a cute pair of heels can make almost any outfit look more dressed-up. Since Fall can get chilly, I prefer heels that are closed toe. When I saw these booties from Charming Charlie (brown color sold out), I knew I had found the perfect Fall heel. They are so comfortable and I love how they look with jeans.
Silky Tops – Silk tops are a huge trend this Fall. I’ve always felt that they make a look more polished and are the perfect way to dress up a pair of jeans. I love that this one has a fringe hem on the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt. I’m all about little details.
Statement Watch – While I don’t always wear a watch, when I do, it’s to make a statement. This Michele watch is so beautiful and definitely adds a lot of sparkle to an outfit, something that I just can’t get enough of.
Dark Wash Skinny Jeans – As much as we all love our light wash jeans, for a more dressy Fall look, I always stick with dark wash and I almost always choose a skinny jean over other styles. These ones have been my go-to this Fall. I loved rolling up them up once and pairing them with cute booties.
