Since starting My Styled Life I have mainly shared fashion-related posts, but I realized that I haven’t shared a ton about myself! I’m thinking of starting a series of posts where every couple of weeks or months I get a little more personal and share some fun facts about myself! I personally love getting to know details about the bloggers I follow so I hope you enjoy finding out a little more about me!
I’m sure we can all relate to having items in our closet that are our go-to pieces! The pieces you can’t live without and reach for far too often. It’s human nature. We like to stick with what we are comfortable in and what we feel most like ourselves in.
If you’ve been reading my past few blog posts, you know I’ve been going all out for Valentine’s Day! I’ve shared gift guides for her, him, and the girl friends & I’ve also shared a casual V Day look (see here). Today though I wanted to create a more dressed up look that’s perfect for anyone going out on a date.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I’m sure many of you are trying to narrow down your plans, make dinner reservations, and of course find the perfect gifts for your loved ones. For those of you looking for gift ideas for your significant other, you can check out this gift guide for her or this gift guide for him, but today I’m focusing on gift ideas for your girl friends!
These days I’m constantly on the go & in the past when I would go out to do something like run errands I would often throw on a pair of yoga pants and an athletic top. Now don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that kind of attire and I still do wear that on occasion, but lately I’ve been switching things up & I wanted to share with you!
For a girl who is in love with the color pink, Valentine’s Day is basically the perfect holiday! Ever since I was a little girl I have loved this holiday and as I’ve grown up this love has only grown. Remember how fun it was to go to the store to pick out which Valentine’s day cards you were going to get for the V Day in-class celebration?!
While dressing up in a cute skirt or dress for Valentine’s Day is always fun, sometimes your V Day plans are more casual and call for leaving the heels at home. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting dressed up, but casual Valentine’s Day plans can be super fun too (and you can definitely still look stylish!).
